December’s Girl Hero

December’s Girl Hero

Devoted Girl Advocate, Eleanor Bradley!

We are thrilled to recognize longtime superstar supporter Eleanor Bradley as our December Girl Hero! Eleanor has been involved with Girls on the Run of Puget Sound since 2006 and has contributed her time and energy to a wide variety of roles: coach, running buddy, event volunteer, 5K participant, member and past president of the Board of Directors, and now a member of our Advisory Council. Eleanor has also supported Girls on the Run as a SoleMate for the past two years, running Ragnar Northwest Passages and raising scholarship funds for girls who would otherwise be unable to participate in our program.

Eleanor is a dedicated champion of our mission and vision and has provided invaluable strategic thinking and thoughtful advice over the years. Her support has made it possible for us to expand our programming to more girls throughout King County – including Eleanor’s daughters, Hadley and Lydia, who were GOTR girls at McGilvra Elementary last season!

Thank you, Eleanor, for your years of contribution and service to

Girls on the Run!

Interested in taking on the 200 mile Ragnar Northwest Passages team challenge this summer? Join Eleanor as a SoleMate and we’ll help you train for the event while you raise funds to support GOTR participants in our community. It’s a win-win! Email for more information.
