The girls at Lake Forest Park Elementary took some time during one of our recent curriculum discussions to work on a fun craft project. Each girl made her own lap counter to help keep track of how many times she goes around the field during our workouts.
The project involved hair-ties, star shaped beads, letter beads to spell the girls’ names and plastic cords.
Some of the girls wear them on their arms and others attach them to their water bottles. Either way, one bead is moved down the counter as a lap is completed making it easier to keep track during the course of the workout.
